
Balsamic Chicken – Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken breast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 cup tomatoes diced
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 lb green beans optional, fresh or frozen
- 8 oz mushrooms optional, sliced
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except vegetables to slow cooker. Cook for 6 hours on low.
- Add desired vegetables during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or potatoes.
Notes
** To make a freezer meal, add all ingredients except green beans to
an airtight container or freezer bag. To cook, thaw and follow
directions.
