Classic Chili

Course Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 15.5 oz cans kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes undrained
  • 28 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 ½ cup broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
  • Either cook onion, peppers, and garlic with beef or add to slow cooker.
  • Add beef to slow cooker with all other ingredients. Stir well to combine.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high or 3-4 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings!
