
Classic Chili
Course Soup
Ingredients
- 2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 large onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 15.5 oz cans kidney beans drained and rinsed
- 2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes undrained
- 28 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 ½ cup broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 ½ tsp oregano
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Brown beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
- Either cook onion, peppers, and garlic with beef or add to slow cooker.
- Add beef to slow cooker with all other ingredients. Stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high or 3-4 hours.
- Serve with your favorite toppings!
