
Sausage Gumbo – Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 12 oz turkey kielbasa or smoked sausage sliced thinly
- 10 oz okra fresh or frozen
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes undrained
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- hot sauce to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours.
- Serve over rice.
Notes
** To make a freezer meal, add all ingredients to an airtight container or freezer bag. To cook, thaw and follow directions.
