
Honey Garlic Tofu

Ingredients
- 1 block tofu firm or extra firm
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut tofu into ½ inch cubes.
- Press liquid out of the tofu with paper towels.
- Toss the cubes with oil, salt, and pepper. Add cornstarch and toss again.
- Spread tofu out on a baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic to the pan, and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch to the pan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil for 30-60 seconds until the sauce thickens – stir constantly, and then remove from heat.
- Once tofu is done, toss in the sauce.
- Serve with rice and veggies.
