Quinoa Berry Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup quinoa rinsed
  • 2 cups mild or plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, bring quinoa and milk to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 12–15 min, stirring occasionally, until quinoa is tender.
  • Stir in cinnamon and sweetner.
  • Serve topped with berries and nuts.

Notes

Tips: Can substitute almond milk or oat milk. Great chilled as an overnight breakfast as well.
