
Barley Pear Porridge

Ingredients
- ½ cup pearl barley
- 2 cups milk or water
- 1 pear diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Rinse barley, combine with milk/water and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20–25 min until tender.
- Stir in pear, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Serve warm.
Notes
Tips: Add chopped nuts for crunch or a dash of vanilla extract for flavor.
